Experienced Teacher and Tutor
I have over a decade of experience of teaching maths in secondary schools in the UK, with the last 8 years working in one of the top maths departments in the West Midlands.
In addition, I've been tutoring 1-to-1 with students, mostly online, for the past 7 years.
I've worked with students in KS3 and KS4 across all ability ranges, but specialise in helping KS3 students maximise their potential and KS4 those struggling to achieve a grade 5 at either Foundation or Higher levels.
As a fully qualified and experienced Life Coach, I'm also ideally placed to help students become more confident, motivate them, and get past any fear of maths they might have.
Online tutoring offers Flexibility
There are many advantages to online maths tutoring:
- Your child can set up in the most convenient room in the house, rather than in the kitchen or dining room.
- The rest of the family can get on with whatever they need to be doing.
- Lessons will be recorded and made available to revisit at any time.
- I'll have instant access to many different teaching aids to make lessons more engaging.
- No travel time for either me or parents/child. Good for us and the environment!
Improved results
I can't turn every child into a "Grade 9 Student"... but I can improve their ability and confidence so they can perform at their best and help them achieve the highest grade possible for them.
how we'll work Together

Building Foundations
Success in maths is built on strong foundations, so I start by finding the strengths and weaknesses of students... and then build up the weaknesses and fill any gaps in knowledge.

Mastering Concepts
We'll then work on the key concepts within the curriculum to master those, whilst supporting the work being done in the classroom at school.
3.
Exam Practice
Many students underperform in GCSE exams because they don't get enough practice at past papers. I'll build confidence and improve exam technique by working through past exam papers and questions.

No problem! Simply get in touch and I'll talk you through how everything falls into place.
I'd recommend using a tablet, Laptop or PC, since screens on mobile phones are too small, and a good broadband speed is helpful.
